Pete Tong will take his Ibiza Classics show to Merseyside this summer.
Joined by The Essential Orchestra, the renowned DJ will perform at Haydock Park Racecourse on August 7 as part of the Haydock Park Nights series organised by The Jockey Club Live.
The new date will form part his summer UK and Ireland tour, which includes performances at Cardiff Castle as part of the Depot Live series, Live At Lincoln Castle, London's Hampton Court Palace Festival, Southampton's Guildhall Square for the Summer Sessions, Live at Llangollen Pavilion, Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Woodstock's Blenheim Palace Festival, Audley End House and Gardens in Saffron Walden, Essex for the Heritage Live series, Killarney's Gleneagle Arena, Russborough House in Blessington, .
Tong will also perform orchestrally reworked club classics across the UK in the winter, taking over arenas in Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and London, where he'll play two nights at the O2 Arena.
Tickets for his new Haydock Park Racecourse show go on general sale a 10am on Friday (January 30). All other dates are on sale now.
Last year, Tong celebrated 10 years of Ibiza Classics with four nights at London's Royal Albert Hall in the spring and a run of arena dates in December. He also released the album 'Ibiza Classics (10th Anniversary Collection)' in May.
In related news, Kaiser Chiefs will headline Newmarket Racecourse in Suffolk on August 22 as part of The Jockey Club Live's Newmarket Nights series. Tickets for that show also go on sale at 10am on Friday.
