The line-up for Summer Nights at the Bandstand just got bigger.
Joining the summer concert series held at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand is John Grant, who'll headline on August 10 and will be joined by Richard Hawley and his band to perform the songs of country icon Patsy Cline, which he'll also do at shows in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Sunderland on August 2, 3 and 9, respectively.
The Wombats will then top the bill on August 12 with support coming from special guests Keyside and Cherryholt.
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 9am this Friday (March 13). Head here for John Grant's other solo shows, which go on sale the same date and time.
Previously announced headliners for this year's Summer Nights at the Bandstand series include The Flaming Lips, Suzanne Vega, Mika, OMD, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Elephant Sessios, Tash Sultana, Marti Pellow, ABC, Idlewild, and Billy Ocean. Head here for the full list of shows and tickets.
American singer and songwriter Grant released his latest album, 'The Art Of The Lie', in 2024. He followed that up with the Disappointing / Voodoo Doll collaboration with Richard Sen last summer.
The Wombats, meanwhile, released their most recent LP, 'Oh! The Ocean', in February 2025. More recently, in December they released a cover of The Power Of Love for the Triple J Like A Version series.
