Jamie Webster Announces Fourth Album 'Running Round The Sun' And Accompanying UK Tour For September

Jamie Webster has announced his fourth studio album and accompanying tour dates.
The follow-up to 2024's '10 For The People' is titled 'Running Round The Sun' and is set for release on September 4 via Modern Sky. Exploring themes of identity, mental health, community and belonging, the Merseyside-born singer-songwriter recorded the album at the iconic Rockfield Studios in South Wales and Mission Sound Studios in New York, reuniting with producers Dave Eringa and Tim Cunningham. Webster said:
"This album is about trying to make sense of it all. Life, pressure, expectations, the way things are changing around us and still holding onto who you are through it."
Alongside the announcement, Webster has shared a new single, his first new music of 2026, Just Begun, which is built around a prominent acoustic guitar rhythm, a catchy chorus and honest lyrics about everyday life. The album will also include his 2025 track Across The River.
He'll support the record with the Running Round The Sun Tour, which is set to kick off at Southampton’s 1865 the day after the album's release, with additional shows scheduled at handpicked intimate venues following recent years of playing outdoor and arena stages. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 29.
Prior to the tour, he'll appear at Neighbourhood Weekender this weekend, followed by shows at Liverpool's Blackstone Street Warehouse in July, the same month he also plays Ottawa Bluesfest in Canada.
Since his last album, Webster also released the live album and concert film 'Live from Sefton Park' in 2025, capturing his biggest headline show to date as part of Liverpool's In the Park Festival in 2024.
