Ravyn Lenae has announced her third studio album.

The American artist will release 'Blue Island' through Atlantic Records on August 7, following up 2024's 'Bird's Eye'. Like its predessesor, Lenae created it with Grammy-winning producer Dahi. She said:

"Blue Island’ is a point of arrival, and feeling set in my ways and in who I am, and feeling free of any of those preconceived notions about Blackness or what I had to be in the past. So I think now it’s fun to challenge the idea of what R&B is supposed to sound like, what pop is supposed to sound like… and really say ‘fuck all of that’ and do my own thing."

Alongside the album announcement, Lenae has shared a new single titled Handle, an alt-R&B offering with pop and soul influences. It follows her earlier tracks Reputation featuring Dominic Fike and Bobby, both of which are on the album, though the full tracklist remains under wraps. Check out the cover art below.

The singer has US, European and UK festival appearances lined up for the summer, including London's All Points East on August 28 supporting Tyler, The Creator.

Since her last album, she has also featured on a remix of Romeo by PinkPantheress, from the British artist's star-studded remix album, 'Fancy Some More?, as well as on Kali Uchis' track Cry about it!, from 'Sincerely: P.S.', the deluxe extended edition of her 2025 album 'Sincerely,'.
