Ghost have announced a new concert film.
After teasing the project in May, the Grammy Award-winning Swedish rock band has now confirmed that 2 Big To Rig will arrive in cinemas and IMAX worldwide on August 26 for a limited time.
The follow-up to 2024's concert film Rite Here Right Now was filmed on 16mm during the band's two sold-out shows at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes last September as part of their Skeletour World Tour, capturing performances in front of 40,000 fans. It also features behind-the-scenes moments with the crew and the only professionally shot footage of Papa V Perpetua. Head here for updates and screenings. Tickets go on sale next Thursday (July 23).
The film's title reflects the band's goal of bringing the Skeletour experience to fans who couldn't attend the shows in person, especially in places where staging the tour wasn't logistically possible.
The Skeletour concluded in February after over 70 shows across North America, Europe, the UK and Mexico.
