Top Tickets This Week: Weezer, Andrea Bocelli, Dylan Gossett and Brandi Carlile

Weezer have announced shows in the UK, Europe and Asia for The Gathering Tour. 

The Los Angeles alt-rock legends will kick things off in February with shows in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya in Japan. They'll then travel to the UK and Ireland in mid-May for arena shows in Dublin, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Cardiff, before continuing across Europe, calling in Paris, Amsterdam, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki between May 25 and June 1.

Support on the new dates will come from Taking Back Sunday. Tickets for the shows in Japan go on sale at 10am local time on September 5. Tickets for the UK and Europe go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (August 14) - Compare and buy yours here.

Weezer will take the tour across North America this fall, joined by The Shins and Silversun Pickups, beginning with a show on September 8 at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center and wrapping up on October 24 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.

The tour will support the band's 20th album, a self-titled effort that is colloquially known as "The Gold Album", due out on August 21 via Reprise/Warner Records. It marks their first release since 2022's 'SZNZ' EP project and their latest studio albums, 2021's 'Van Weezer’ and ’OK Human’.

Singles already shared from the album include We Might As Well Be Strangers, featuring Karly Hartzman of Wednesday, Shine Again and, most recently, C.E.O.

Andrea Bocelli

Andrea Bocelli has announced his first headline concert in Wales. 

The acclaimed Italian tenor will be accompanied by the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera and a massed choir at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on May 8. The performance will feature songs from his iconic 1997 album 'Romanza', which celebrates its 30th anniversary next year, with the stadium's closed roof creating an intimate atmosphere and world-class acoustics. "Throughout my career I have been fortunate to perform in many extraordinary places around the world, and I am thrilled to be making my first headline appearance in Wales," Bocelli said. "The country's rich choral heritage and deep connection with music make this city a fitting setting for this special concert, and I am looking forward to an unforgettable evening in Cardiff."

The concert will take place during the inaugural Land Of Song Festival, celebrating Wales' rich musical heritage, with the festival continuing on May 9 with Côr World Choir, bringing thousands of singers from Wales, the UK and around the world together at the iconic stadium. First held in 1992, the event was created by the same organisation behind Young Voices.

In June, Bocelli released his most recent album, 'Season of Champions', a compilation gathering iconic inspirational and athletic anthems, including Nessun Dorma from the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics and the FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem DNA (More Than A Game). His latest solo studio album is 2020's 'Believe', which was followed by a deluxe edition in 2021.

He is currently touring Europe and is set to perform in North America later this year.

Dylan Gossett has announced his sophomore album and UK tour dates for 2027. 

The Texas singer-songwriter will release 'Ramblin'' through Big Loud Texas/Mercury Records on September 25, following his 2025 debut 'Westward'. Written after years of touring the world, the 12-track album finds Gossett returning home to Austin with a new perspective on love, relationships and the place that shaped him, told through his signature personal songwriting style. 

The album will include Gossett's previous single Honeysuckle, as well as the newly shared opening track Loving You Like That, a rootsy acoustic offering that delivers a heartfelt reflection on lasting love.

Alongside the announcement, Gossett has scheduled his Ramblin' UK and European tour for February, featuring support from Noah Rinker. It will see him perform in Utrecht, Brussels, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin. Tickets go on sale at 10am local time tomorrow - Compare and get yours here.

Ahead of the dates, Gossett will continue touring the US through to the fall, including his own performances, co-headline dates with fellow singer-songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin and shows supporting The Red Clay Strays. Following that, he'll head Down Under for shows in both Australia and New Zealand in December. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.

Brandi Carlile

Brandi Carlile has rescheduled the UK and European leg of The Human Tour. 

The multi-Grammy-winner was due to perform at arenas in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow and London between October 15 and 21, before heading across Europe between October 23 and November 1. However, "due to personal circumstances" she said she has "no choice but to reschedule." 

The American singer-songwriter's Dublin show at the 3Arena has moved to April 4, and instead of arenas in the rest of the cities on that run, she will now play two shows apiece at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow, Manchester's O2 Apollo and London's Eventim Apollo.

She's also added a new stop at Civic at The Halls in Wolverhampton on April 11 and Copenhagen's Dr Koncerthuset on March 26. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday - Compare and buy yours here.

For the European dates at the same venues, tickets will be transferred to the new date, but Lisbon has been cancelled outright so automatic refunds will be issued. For the new UK shows, all ticketholders for the previous venues will be refunded and given priority access to booking for the new dates and venues.

Carlile is hitting the road in support of her 2025 album, 'Returning To Myself'. More recently, she put out the single Life On The Run this May.
