Scissor Sisters have announced their eagerly-awaited comeback details.
The New York based indie-dance outfit shot to stardom in 2004 with their self-titled debut and will release their new single and new album this summer.
The new single, 'I Don’t Feel Like Dancin', will be released on September 4th, whilst the album 'Ta-dah' will be released in the UK on September 18th.
Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears compared recording the album with ‘giving birth to a baby’, he said: "I'm completely excited. I feel like I've birthed a baby!" joked Shears.
"That would be the closest thing, it was very weird and painful but I think my baby is really cute! The old rock cliché is very true, it's harder doing a second album, but that's why we took our time with it.
"I'm really glad we did. I think when a record comes out people remember it if it's good, they don't necessarily remember that it came out four months after it should have."
