The stories say that Jeff Beck was born with stubble and a shaggy mop of dark hair, playing an awesome riff on a full-sized guitar, which must have made for a tricky birth. The reality is that Beck is a veritable guitar god who’s proved beyond reasonable doubt that he’s still alive by announcing a tour. Click Here to Compare & Buy Jeff Beck Tickets

He’s not the household name he should be but but those who are in-the-know know that he’s up there with the likes of Clapton and Hendrix for squeezing the pleasing sounds out of a guitar. The living icon of Blues guitar history is showing no signs of quitting, this year has seen him tour Australia and New Zealand and next year he’s grabbing his Les Paul Oxblood and doing the UK, Europe and Canada. Impressive stuff for a 65 year old.

Known as the Guitarist’s Guitarist, Beck never achieved commercial fame in the way some of his contemporaries did. This was partly down to him doing whatever the hell he liked, experimenting and hopping between genres, forming and dissolving bands and taking most of a decade off to play with cars.

Beck’s dates are:

16 Oct - Brighton Centre, Brighton
20 Oct - Clyde Auditorium, Glasgow
24 Oct - Colston Hall, Bristol
25 Oct - St Davids Hall, Cardiff
