Dizzee Rascal Goes Bonkers With Journalist

British rap sensation Dizzee Rascal has unleashed a foul mouthed rant upon an Australian journalist whilst in a backstage press call.

The singer has grown up to waste no time on fools, making his name in the competitive grime scene, where a word out of place could result in violence. Now, an ever present fixture on the charts, Dizzee Rascal is currently touring down under as part of the Big Day Out Festival. It would appear the heat is getting to him lately with a series of incidents being linked to the rapper.

Recently the star sparked a brawl having leapt into the crowd from the stage after narrowly missing a bottle of water thrown by a fan. Now the singer has insulted a journalist backstage during a press call.

Having been asked if he had ever fallen on stage, Australian website News.com reports that Dizzee replied. “Yeah, yeah I have stacked it on stage”. However as the line of questions from journalist Alison Stephenson continued, the star grew angry and said. “What the f*ck do you want from me man, I’ve already said I done it. Yeah I stacked it, bitch. F*ck”.

Leaving the press call immediately, Dizzee Rascal then demanded that any footage of the incident be destroyed. Stephenson spoke of the incident stating, “A publicist came running up to me declaring I had to go back to the media area immediately and my Dizzee Rascal interview had to be deleted. He was refusing to do any other press that day until I agreed to delete it, including a radio station whose team was going into chaos. They were due to go live with the rapper but he was sitting in his trailer waiting for me to comply.”

The journalist continued. “I was escorted to Dizzee’s trailer so his UK manager and publicist could merge, watch me sign the document and agree to just forget about it and move on.”

The publicist for the Big Day Out festival, Miranda Brown, has declined to comment on the incident.
