Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant to Headline Abbey Road Charity Gig & Tickets

Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant has announced he will be hosting an intimate concert in aid of Cancer Research at Abbey Road this month.

The rock demigod and Hall of Famer will headline the 2010 Sound & Vision event at Abbey Road Studios in London on February 25th. US singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman and the London Oriana Choir will be supporting the great man on stage.

Fans who buy VIP tickets to the event will also get the chance to meet the stars, with David Gray and Newton Faulkner also on the bill.

Of the event, Plant had this to say: "My set is quite different from anything I've ever done before, as I'll be performing with Beth and a full choir on stage.

"Cancer is a disease that affects so many people and Sound & Vision is a great way to raise money to fight it".

Tickets for the event will not go on general sale, but will be given away to competition winners. UK radio station Absolute Radio will be broadcasting the event live on the night.
