Let the war begin! The former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has retaliated to BRIT awards presenter Peter Kay, after the northern funny-man called the singer a “knobhead”.
Liam Gallagher is forever causing controversy. During what was the final tour by his band Oasis, the singer caused anger amongst fans after insisting that the crowd stopped clapping and singing along at one of their performances. In addtion to this, in the past Gallagher has been challenged to fights in two BRIT award acceptance speeches. Once by Robbie Williams and then again by Spice Girl Mel C. The man generally causes havoc wherever he goes.
With Oasis being nominated for BRIT Album Of 30 Years, their ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory’ album triumphed in the category. Striding up to the podium to accept the award, confident as ever, the singer dedicated the award to the members of Oasis, apart from Noel, and
launched into an abusive speech.
Ending by throwing his mircrophone and award into the audience, the scene ended with the re-emergence of host Peter Kay remarking at Gallagher’s actions saying “What a knobhead”.
With a number of Facebook groups already set up in support of Kay’s hilarious comment. Liam Gallagher is someone who definitely wont be joining in on the fun. The singer has now chastised the Bolton born comedian via his Twitter page.
"Listen up fat fuck," he wrote. "As a real northerner I was brought up 2 say shit 2 people's faces not behind their back. Live forever LG"
It seemed that even after leaving the BRIT awards ceremony Liam Gallagher was not content in the chaos he had caused. Giving an interview he appeared to suggest that he had got himself into an argument backstage. The singer left the interview by appearing to claim he was off to get “loads of class A drugs”.
