Dr Vades is a hip hop production duo from East London, made up of brothers Kane and Jay Busia, otherwise known as Dr Kane and Jay Vades.
Heavily influenced by the likes of Timbaland and The Neptunes, the pair joined forces just a few years ago and have been producing music together since they signed with Portfolio Music in 2014. Working with the cream of the UK’s music scene, - from artists such as Yxng Bane and Kojo Funds and U.S R&B-Trap sensation Jhene Aiko to the best songwriters in the world including Wayne Hector (One Direction, JLS, plus more) and Camille Purcell (Little Mix, Birdy, The Script) The duo is forever sharpening their tools and have played a major hand in shaping what we now know as the Afro-Bashment scene with the creation of many sub-genre’s including Afro-Swing.
