Eddie Izzard is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor and political activist.
She began her comedy career while in university, going on to tour her own stand-up comedy shows around the UK ,and eventually making her Comedy Store debut in 1987. She has since become one of the country's most beloved comedians, but is also known for her roles in the West End and on screen, having landed roles in films such as The Chronicles Of Narnia, Oceans Twelve and Thirteen, Valkyrie and many more. Her efforts have earned her a number of honours and accolades, including Tony and Emmy Awards. Eddie Izzard will celebrate her 35-year career with the Remix Tour, which hits the UK in November and December 2023, following the North American leg earlier that autumn. She promises the tour "will include a remix and re-imagination of some of my favourite material from my first 35 years of comedy." Beg,save,borrow,anything short of stealing,pull together money for tickets for a night you will never forget! lighting, music, timing - a perfect blending.
This is a man of rare genius, and has an amazing amount of knowledge on so many things, in detail, that he can take the things you may already know and retell it in a manner that makes it hilarious. Mind opening - allowing you to walk out of the theatre with a new perspective on everything you see!
