Eddie Izzard is a British stand-up comedian, writer, actor, voice actor and political activist. He has appeared in films such as ‘Ocean's Twelve’, ‘Ocean's Thirteen’, ‘Mystery Men’, as well as voicing characters in ‘Igor’, ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’ and ‘Cars 2’.
Starting his comedy career in 1982, after having worked as a street performer for many years, he made his West End debut in 1993, and was followed by tours such as ‘Unrepeatable’, in 1994, ‘Definite Article’, in 1996, ‘Glorious’, in 1997 and ‘Dress to Kill’, in 2000, for which he won Primetime Emmy Award for his comedy special. The ‘Circle’ tour took in 2002, ‘Sexie’, in 2003, ‘Stripped’ in 2009 and ‘Force Majeure’ in 2013.
