Kendal Calling is an annual music festival held in Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District, Cumbria, featuring some of the best and some of freshest acts in rock, indie, dance, folk, and electro.
Formed in 2006, it has grown from a 900 capacity event to attracting crowds of over 13,000 and was voted Best Small Festival in 2010 and 2011. The festival offers a variety of entertainment, ranging from games and activities to good food, drink and alternative performances too.
As well as the festival, which over the years has had a number of big name artists and DJs perform, including Pendulum, Blondie, Mumford and Sons, Calvin Harris, Snoop Dogg, Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, James, Suede, Frank Turner, De La Soul, Happy Mondays, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Rudimental, Madness and the Charlatans, the organisers also run a New Year's Eve gig.
2018 will see the New Years Eve Party fronted by Everything Everything, with Tom Grennan, Felix Hagan and the Family, Tim Peaks DJs and Howling Rhythm DJs also set to play. Get tickets below through Stereoboard.
