The Anson Rooms are a live music venue based in the grounds of Bristol University. With a capacity of 1,200 as of spring 2014, it is one of the city's most popular locations for music (and in a city that loves music, that is quite the achievement). First opened back in the '60s, it's recently seen a multimillion pound renovation and boasts a sweet bar/cafe too. Names that have hit the Ansom Rooms include the late Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, and Radiohead.
