The Pop Group are an English post punk from Bristol, consisting of founding members, frontman Mark Stewart, guitarist Gareth Sager, and drummer Bruce Smith, alongside longtime bassist Dan Catsis.

Formed in 1978, the band released their debut album, ‘Y’, in 1979, followed by ‘For How Much Longer Do We Tolerate Mass Murder?’ in 1980, before they split in 1981. The band reformed in 2010, and released a third album, ‘Citizen Zombie’, in 2015.
