Blazin Squad are an British hip hop group from London, currently featuring Rocky B, MC Reepa, Spike-E, Krazy, Melo-D and Freek. The band also featured in the past Kenzie, Flava, Tommy-B, Plat'num and Strider.
The group formed in 2001, the group released their debut single, Crossroads, in 2002, which hit #1 in the UK Singles Chart and was followed by their debut album, ‘In the Beginning’. The single Love on the Line and Reminisce / Where the Story Ends also reached the Top Ten. The group released their second album, ‘Now or Never’, in 2003, which featured the Top Ten singles, We Just Be Dreamin', Flip Reverse and Here 4 One. The group split after they failed to gain a record deal for their third album, with several members going on to form Friday Hill. Later several members reformed the group and released further singles but they soon disbanded again. Blazin Squad will play reunion shows at London’s KOKO and Electric Brixton in November, after Rocky B appeared on the TV show, ‘Love Island’.
