Boom Crash Opera are an Australian pop-rock band that formed in early 1985.
The group was initially based on the songwriting partnership of Richard Pleasance and Peter Farnan, though Pleasance developed tinnitus and left in 1992 to pursue a solo career as an artist and producer. The band currently comprises Dale Ryder, Peter Farnan, Peter Maslen and John Favaro. The band have released six studio albums to date, the latest being 2009's 'Dancing In The Storm'.
