Boy George is an English new wave and soul singer-songwriter hailing from Bexley, Kent. A talented DJ, producer, and even fashion designer too, he's a totally unique character - there's definitely only one performer out their like Boy George.

His style is often labelled 'blue-eyed soul' for its reggae and R&B influences, though he certainly has a glam element to it too - he loves his make-up and is fond of a rather quirky and colourful outfit too. But, image aside, he’s easily on the UK’s favourite all-time acts.

First fronting award-winning pop outfit Culture Club (with whom he had megahits in Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me), he later made a name for himself as a solo artist, releasing his debut album 'Sold' in 1987 - reaching #27 in the UK Albums chart and birthing #1 single 'Everything I Own'.

As of 2013, he has nine solo records, a countrywide fanbase, and memories of performing in front of millions of fans at some of our biggest venues. However, he’s still releasing music, and performing too - catch him playing a few select dates with Cyndi Lauper along the East US coast in May 2016!
