After two acclaimed sell out tours in 2009, Only Men Aloud are back with a very special Christmas themed tour for December 2010.
The show will be a selection of festive Christmas repertoire, plus a mixture of songs from both of their albums and a few firm favourites.
Classical Brit Winners, Only Men Aloud was formed in 2000 by Tim Rhys-Evans. Tim's primary aim was to encourage younger men to get involved with one of Wales' oldest and best loved traditions, male voice singing. The group are unafraid to tackle music not normally associated with male voice choirs, their repertoire ranges from the 17th Century to the present day, and has included several world premieres in this time.

Ever since 'Sweet Disposition' has been on every advert and every montage of relationship turmoil to grace our televisions, The Temper Trap have become the music supervisor's band of choice. Seemingly, there are also 2000 music fans that would be inclined to agree. Australia's chosen boys are on the verge of profound success providing they can keep their patented epic soundscapes rolling out of the studio and into this summer's festival scene.
The venue change from the O2 ABC to the O2 Academy is both a blessing and a curse for this -unofficially- 10 legged pathos machine. Blessed in that more 20 somethings will be able to experience this act live and cursed that the ABC has one the worst acoustic problems of any Glaswegian venue.

It’s been a pretty good twelve months for Florence Welch - aka solo artist Florence and the Machine. Her music has received a warm reception from the Great British public and she has managed to become a household name, thanks to the handful of hit singles taken from her debut album ‘Lungs’.

The album’s success peaked at the beginning of 2010 when, after six months in the chart, it finally made it to Number One before being awarded Best British Album at the Brits. Where would we be without fantastic stage shows, pyrotechnics, massive moving figures, flying drum kits, and thousands of people crammed into venues, or up to the eyeballs in mud? Such is the diversity of live performances among modern bands that the show is as important as the music itself. You could be witnessing the spectacular lighting show of a Muse gig one night, the giant walking Eddie at an Iron Maiden gig the next, or be treated to the masters of stage presence such as Eddie Vedder or Steven Tyler on another day.
However, none of these bands woke up one morning with the money and expertise to build such amazing shows. They all cut their teeth in local bars and clubs learning their trade as musicians and performers. They are what many unsigned bands aspire to be.
