Reunited Take That Release More UK Tour Details

It’s only been a few days since superstar Robbie Williams sent the pop world into hysteria by confirming his reunion with Take That. Now there’s more exciting news to report with the band revealing details of an ambitious UK tour, taking in some of the biggest stadiums in the country.

Robbie Williams, who devastated the group and its fans by walking-out in 1995, spoke out about the reunion with his old pals, saying “it feels like coming home”. A five-piece pop sensation once again, Take That now look forward to releasing a brand new album this autumn as well as embarking on a massive tour in 2011, all very happy with the fact that the reformation is expected to earn the lads a whopping £15million each!

The Sun newspaper reports that Take That are expected to play to a record-breaking total of three million people whilst touring next year. The tour is said to consist of 54 dates in stadiums all over the world including a string of dates at the UK’s Wembley Stadium, City of Manchester Stadium, Scotland’s Murrayfield Stadium and the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

If demand for tickets is anything like that seen for Take That’s last tour, ‘The Circus’, then expect a sell-out within minutes. Revealing a few details about the 2011 tour, a source explained, "Robbie has some commitments with Live Nation and a couple of appearances with Gary for the new single lined up, but after that Take That's creative tour team will be working on the biggest show they have ever put on. Kim Gavin, who has worked with Take That on all their spectacular tours, is already briefed and ready to start coming up with amazing ideas."

It was ‘The Circus’ tour that further inspired Robbie to get back involved with Take That. Talking to The Sun at the end of 2010, he explained how he was “swept up” in the excitement of the their sell-out shows. "The Take That tour was fantastic. The show was amazing. I did fancy being part of it. That's a band I want to be in. Their last album was really good. They all chip in. I love it all."

The new Take That album is already well underway with many songs already recorded. Still without a title, the new album began to come together when the boys started recording in New York last September. Using Mark’s stag do as a sneaky excuse for their studio time, six songs are already complete and ready to feature on the album.

It also looks to be a good Christmas for Robbie, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange who are all set for one hell of a pay-day. A music industry expert worked out that the reunited Take That will pocket £5million each from sales, royalties, TV rights and endorsements as well as another £10million each from their tour.

Commenting on the enormous pay-cheque, the expert had this to say. "One sold-out stadium will gross £2million for the band. Costs will swallow £1million per show, but after fifty dates the lads will be left with at least £50million."

At present Take That have not made any further plans beyond their album release and their tour. It has been said that Robbie has only rejoined the band for one album and one tour, who knows what may happen following on from that.
