3,500 Reading Festival Tickets Set To Be Made Available at 10am Saturday

Reading Festival organisers have announced that 3,500 tickets for next months festival will go onsale tomorrow morning at 10am.
With assistance from the Reading Borough Council, the Reading Festival's capacity has been extended to 82,000 for the 2010 event, along with 5000 guests. The event's capacity is expected to be boosted by a further 3000 spaces in 2011, which is part of a staggered process to extend the capacity of the festival grounds with the local council.
Managing director of festival republic Melvin Benn said: "Once again I would like to thank the council for its continued support of Reading Festival and for its help in ensuring Reading Festival maintains its pole position as the greatest rock festival in the world."
This year's headliners are Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink-182, with Lostprophets, Paramore, The Libertines and Dizzee Rascal also appearing on the bill, which takes place between 27th - 29th August.
Benn also added, "I am aware that there is a large waiting list and this will go some way to meet some of that demand albeit there are absolutely no early birds left."
Tickets sold out in hours earlier this year when they went on sale, and a huge scramble for the remaining tickets is expected when they go onsale this Saturday July 24th at 10am.
