Introducing: Paper Crows 'Stand Alight' - Listen Now

Paper Crows are gearing up to release their debut single 'Stand Alight' on the 11th October and recently played their first show at White Heat in London. They are rather young with an incredibly promising future and have a sound which is both contemporary with elements of dubstep and artists such as Bat For Lashes and also harks back to the trip-hop days of Portishead and Massive Attack.

Sultry Singer Emma Panas has been obsessively writing songs since she was 14 years old. She met her musical sparring partner Duncan McDougall eighteen months ago at music college in Kilburn, London. The pair immediately bonded in the corner of their vocal techniques class. Instead of paying attention in lessons they wrote songs, then snuck off to Duncan's house to record them in his makeshift bedroom studio.

During this time they also discovered that Duncan likes wine and Emma like Gin & Tonic. They both like cheese and origami. They both like making music and are
currently in the studio recording their debut album.

Their next gig (only their 2nd gig ever) will be at Offset festival on the introducing stage.

A band to watch out for!
