Rock icon Slash, the former guitarist of Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, could be set to tour alongside one of metal's biggest names Ozzy Osbourne.
Although nothing has been confirmed, Slash revealed the possibility of a tour with The Prince of Darkness on a Philadelphia radio station WMMR. Whilst chatting to DJs from the station, the guitarist told listeners that he would be playing the City of Brotherly Love - Philadephia - very soon before letting slip, “I think we’re doing it with Ozzy in January.” Slash immediately hung up following his announcement, leaving listeners eagerly awaiting some confirmation that the tour is to go ahead.
Slash's revelation of a possible tour with Ozzy follows rumours that The Prince of Darkness is set to be touring extensively throughout 2011. Whether the pair actually do team up to tour, we'll have to wait and see!
Ozzy Osbourne is one of the many guests that feature on Slash's eponymous solo album that was released earlier this year. Other stars that appear on the album include Chris Cornell, Dave Grohl, Kid Rock, Iggy Pop, M Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold and Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother.
