Paper Crows will release their debut single 'Stand Alight' on the 11th October.
Paper Crows recently played their first ever show at White Heat in London followed by a triumphant performance at Offset festival. They are young upstarts with an incredibly promising future and have a sound which is both contemporary with elements of dubstep and artists such as Bat For Lashes and also harks back to the trip-hop days of Portishead and Massive Attack.
You can have a listen to their new track 'Stand Alight' below:
Sultry Singer Emma Panas has been obsessively writing songs since she was 14 years old and cites Kate Bush and Bjork as major influences. She met her musical sparring partner Duncan McDougall eighteen months ago at music college in Kilburn, London. The pair immediately bonded in the corner of their vocal techniques class. Instead of paying attention in lessons they wrote songs, then snuck off to Duncan's house to record them in his makeshift bedroom studio.
To coincide with the release of the debut single, Paper Crows will play a short series of UK shows.
