'Weird Al' Yankovic, the biggest selling comedy recording artist of all time, has revealed details of his first ever UK tour.
Since stepping into the spotlight in 1979, Weird Al has sold more than 12 million albums, won a load of Gold and Platinum album awards as well as three Grammy awards. His success has continued throughout three decades with his most recent album 'Straight Outta Lynwood' notching up his first Top Ten Billboard Chart album. The single taken from the album, 'White & Nerdy', also gave him his first Top Ten single. Other hits include 'Eat It', 'Like A Surgeon', 'Fat', 'Smells Like Nirvana' and 'Amish Paradise'.
Weird Al is set to play four UK shows in December to support his upcoming 38-track, greatest hits album, 'The Essential 'Weird Al' Yankovic'. While on UK soil, the legendary comic will also make a special appearance at the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead on December 5th.
'Weird Al' Yankovic's geatest hits album is set for release on October 18th.
