Beartooth Announce Sixth Album 'Pure Ecstasy' And UK, European And Australian Tour Dates

Beartooth have announced their sixth studio album.
The follow-up to 2023's 'The Surface' is titled 'Pure Ecstasy' and will arrive on August 28 via the Columbia, Ohio metalcore band's new label home Fearless Records.
Setting the tone for an album that deals in both the darkest and happier sides of frontman Caleb Shomo, the quintet has shared the opener and title track, which delivers emotionally-charged vocals, crushing low-string chugs and an anthemic chorus. Shomo said:
"Song one is always a crucial part of an album to me. It’s gotta lock you into the vibe out of the gate. ‘Pure Ecstasy’ was birthed in a studio with Misha Mansoor, ridiculous loudspeakers, and the dumbest heaviest chugs we could chug. Once it was brought home and expanded on with Jordan Fish, there was no question it was the album opener. Play loud and kick ass."
The album will also include the band's earlier single, Free, which dropped back in February.
Hot on the heels of an arena tour supporting Bad Omens, Beartooth have announced a UK and European headline tour for the autumn, including shows at London's O2 Academy Brixton, the O2 Academy Leeds and Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on October 3, 5 and 6, respectively. They'll also play shows in Australia in January 2027.
Support on the UK and European run will come from Silverstein and Kingdom Of Giants, while Fit For A King and Volumes will open in Australia. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (May 22).
Since 'The Surface', Beartooth also released a deluxe edition of the album in 2024, followed by a live record titled 'I Was A… LIVE' in July 2025, recorded during their first headline arena show in their hometown in January of that year.
