Beartooth Tease 'Pure Ecstasy' With New Single Bullshit

Beartooth have shared another single from their upcoming sixth album.
Bullshit serves up one of the more cathartic moments on 'Pure Ecstasy', due out on August 28 via Fearless Records. Frontman Caleb Shomo explained:
"Bullshit is a familiar song I’ve written many times. I wanted to revisit the musical style that was the catalyst of so much healing and discovery in my earlier years of Beartooth. It’s an exercise in letting the truth out about what you’re sick of in your own life. Sometimes the easiest way to deal with something is to yell about it as loud as you can. Can confirm, it felt as amazing to do this exercise now as I'd did when I was 19."
The Columbia, Ohio metalcore band announced the follow-up to 2023's 'The Surface' last month, alongside the release of its opening title track. It'll also include their earlier single, Free, released back in February.
Beartooth will support the LP with a previously scheduled tour spanning North America, Europe and the UK this autumn, with the latter leg including shows at London's O2 Academy Brixton, the O2 Academy Leeds and Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on October 3, 5 and 6, respectively. They'll also play shows in Australia in January 2027.
Support on the North American run will come from special guests Don Broco, Magnolia Park, and Windwaker, while the UK and European dates will feature Silverstein and Kingdom Of Giants, with Fit For A King and Volumes appearing in Australia. Tickets are on sale now.
