HMS Morris Return With New Single Bwletin Brys

Monday, 22 June 2026 Written by Jon Stickler

HMS Morris have returned with a new single.

Released via Cardiff-based label Bubblewrap Collective, the energetic Bwletin Brys (Emergency Transmission) combines driving drums, jagged guitars, electronic elements and spacey vocal effects for the Welsh art-pop band's first new music since their 2023 third album 'Dollar Lizard Money Zombie'.

Fresh from a performance at Welsh-language festival Tafwyl at Cardiff Castle over the weekend (June 21), the group will play Love Trails Festival in Swansea on July 3 and The Weekend Rumble in Newport on July 4, followed by a date supporting Pictish Trail at Elysium in Swansea on August 14.

Later in the year, they'll embark on a three-date run of shows with Catalan band Remei de ca la Fresca, calling in Manchester, Leeds and London on October 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Head here for details. Tickets are on sale now.

Since their last album, HMS Morris have also released the five-track 'Dollar Lizard Money Zombie - Remixes / Ailgymysgiadau' EP, featuring reworked songs from the original album.
