Blink 182 Return To Live Scene With 2011 UK Tour Announcement & Tickets

American pop punksters, Blink 182, have announced a string of UK shows for next summer, revealing details of a five-date tour.

Formed in 1992, Blink-182 have become a critical band in the pioneering of contemporary punk pop music. Influencing many bands over their career, although the group maybe punk pop, they have no doubt experienced the highs and lows of a lifestyle led by any gritty punk rock band.

Hitting the mainstream and gaining massive success with their 1999 album ‘Enema Of The State’, Blink-182 maintained their popularity with their follow up records ‘Take Off Your Pants And Jacket’ in 2001 and self-titled ‘Blink-182’ in 2003. Like all good things though, 2005 saw guitarist Tom Delonge depart the band and an indefinite hiatus was announced. Blink-182 came to an end.

Now after enduring some tragic events including the death of their producer and the surviving of a near fatal plane crash for drummer Travis Barker, Blink-182 are back with an album expected sometime next year.

After a five year hiatus and following their performances at the UK's Reading and Leeds festivals earlier this summer, Blink 182 will return to the UK touring scene with the announcement of five UK shows for July 2011. Full details of the tour are listed below.

Take it from Garth Algar: we fear change. We all do. It’s something that makes the longevity of a band like Less Than Jake deeply comforting. For almost 30 years the Gainesville outfit have been racking up the miles playing ska-punk tunes that have ricocheted from the heart of the zeitgeist to the outer rim of cultural relevance—and they don’t give a shit how anyone sees them.
