Westlife Shun Brian McFadden’s Hint At A Return

Brian McFadden has declared his desire to rejoin Westlife this week, but the boyband were quick to assert that they are doing just fine without him.
McFadden revealed his desire to rejoin the band through Twitter, declaring: 'If i'm honest yes I would love to do an album with the boys and show JLS and Take That what we are really made of.' The Irish singer decided to depart from the band in 2004, choosing to focus on his family and his solo aspirations.
McFadden continued with his plea moments later, as he tweeted: 'If the boys wanna challenge these newcomers I am always up for a fight. They know where I am. Armed and ready to reclaim glory.'
However, McFadden’s pleas have clearly fallen on deaf ears. The band have been quick to dispel any rumours about Brian McFadden rejoining the band, claiming that the assertions weren’t ‘even remotely interesting’.
Speaking to a British newspaper, singer Shane Filan declared: 'I don't think it's even remotely interesting if Brian came back. Brian left because he didn't like being in the band. It wasn't because we fell out.'
The exchange comes just weeks after rival boyband Take That broke box office records with their sell-out UK arena tour, which will take place next May. The band have seen unprecedented success after the return of former member Robbie Williams, but it would appear that the Westlife boys are not quite ready for such a reunion themselves.
