The Veils Reveal New E.P

London based indie rock band The Veils have announced they are to release a new six-track EP, titled ‘Troubles of the Brain’

The four piece band look to showcase their newest material since their previous release, Sun Gangs, on its premier, which is scheduled for 24th January 2011.

Sun Gangs was such a success the band managed to sell out many a venue on their massive European and US tours, and the rockers look to have hit the jackpot again with what Uncut described as “Revelatory stuff”.

It has also been critically championed by Drowned in Sound, who wrote “The Veil’s Tale has been a gripping on so far, and it just got even better”, and NME, who went as far as to say “It throbs with delicious melodrama”.

And the band managed to receive all this praise, even though the whole album was written and recorded in lead singer and songwriter Finn Andrew’s house – although it was produced by Bernard Butler, who has produced for The Libertines previously.

The E.P is planned to be released on the band’s own, new label entitled Pitch Beats.
