Tinie Tempah is the latest musician to be added to an already impressive line-up for next year’s Benicassim festival. The London rapper was included in the latest batch of acts to be confirmed for the Spanish festival, alongside the likes of Elbow, Friendly Fires and Beirut.
He will be joining previously announced acts Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Portishead, Primal Scream and The Strokes in what looks to be an unmissable weekend for indie music fans. The festival will take place from July 14th–17th next summer at the Spanish coastal town. Tickets are currently available, and four-day tickets are priced at £145 until January 14th.
It has been a busy few weeks for Tinie Tempah. Not only has he recently teamed up with boyband and condom-endorsers JLS on their new single, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, but the rapper has also been recruited by dubstep duo Chase & Status to appear on their next album.
Tinie Tempah has contributed to a track called ‘Hitz’ which will feature on the pair’s new album ‘No More Idols’. It would appear, however, that he is in good company: Chase & Status have also scouted the talents of Dizzie Rascal, Cee-Lo Green, Plan B, White Lies, Liam Bailey and Claire Maguire for their 2011 release.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR We don't run any advertising!
