Avenged Sevenfold Release New Single

Avenged Sevenfold have released a brand new E.P., available for digital download now.
The E.P, called ‘Welcome to the Family’, is the second single taken from their smash hit album ‘Nightmare’ (which reached the top 5 in the UK charts), and is getting rave reviews from all the biggest metal magazines – with Kerrang saying the single demonstrated ‘Brutal Pantera style beatdowns’, and Metalhammer saying “Welcome To The Family’ showcases A7X’s love for SoCal punk rock with a Metallica sized stomp”.
There is also a deluxe version of the single, featuring a non-album track titled ‘4 A.M’, a live version of their much-loved track ‘Seize the Day’ and a whole load of band photos. A video for the new tune will be available soon.
But this isn’t the only good news for the Southern Californian rockers – they have also been announced to play at the 2011 Download festival, the UK’s biggest metal festival. After the success of their sell out UK tour, and the size of their up and coming US tour, the band were asked to perform.
