Institute Vocal Tutor Becky Jones Supporting Hurts On UK Tour

Institute of Contemporary Music Performance tutor Becky Jones, who performs as ‘Saint Saviour’, has announced that she will be supporting RCA/Sony-signed band Hurts on their upcoming UK and Ireland tour.

Becky is a key member of the Institute’s vocal faculty and Paul Kirkham, Managing Director at the Institute, said: ‘We are delighted for Becky, but at the same time not surprised as she is an outstanding talent and her success is extremely well-deserved. This is also great news for all our students – Becky is an extremely valuable and active member of our faculty and Institute vocal students have the opportunity to learn from her experience and her success on a regular basis!’

‘Hurts’ invited Becky to join them as support for their tour after they heard her perform live on the Channel 4 ‘Little Noise’ sessions hosted and curated by BBC Radio 1 presenter Jo Whiley. The tour is a six-date run of shows in Brighton starting on February 2nd and culminating in Hurts’ hometown of Manchester on February 8th. The dates are:

Brighton Dome - February 2nd
London HMV Forum - February 3rd
Glasgow O2 ABC - February 4th
Leeds O2 Academy – February 6th
Dublin Academy – February 7th
Manchester O2 Academy – February 8th
