Sleigh Bells Announce Details Of New Single 'Riot Rhythm'

‘Riot Rhythm’ is the new single by Sleigh Bells., taken from the acclaimed debut album ‘Treats’. ‘Riot Rhythm’ features sugar sweet vocals from Alexis and underpinned by searing, overpowered guitars from Derek and with a fantastic rolling beat, it’s another perfect two-and-a-half minutes from this unique American duo.

‘Riot Rhythm’ is the third after ‘Tell Em’ and ‘Infinity Guitars’, to be taken from ‘Treats’, which was released in August in the UK to rave reviews.

Sleigh Bells have continued to receive critical plaudits throughout the year, with Alexis appearing in NME’s top 50 coolest people in music and "Treats’ featuring in many critical end of year polls such as Q, Uncut, NME, the Fly and more.

The band’s live shows have been described as ‘a visceral thrill’ and they will be returning to the UK in early 2011 to play more shows including the BBC Radio 1 In New Music We Trust show at the Forum in London on 20th January. They are joined by White Lies, Jamie Woon and Funeral Party on a line-up handpicked by Radio 1 DJs Zane Lowe and Nick Grimshaw.
