Britney Spears To Release ‘Till The World Ends’ Today – Listen Now

Friday, 04 March 2011 Written by James Conlon

Britney Spears has been playing the promotion game wisely with her upcoming release, ‘Femme Fatale’. The singer and producer Dr. Luke have been leaking 20-30 second snippets of tracks on Twitter, whetting fans’ taste for the new release song by song.

However, yesterday afternoon another track, ‘Till The World Ends’ leaked online in its entirety. The song has received positive reviews so far, with fans praising its eurotrash dance feel and anthemic cut-and-paste chorus line. Spears acknowledged the leak herself yesterday, posting on Twitter: "Looks like the cat's out of the bag..."

While the leaked version of the track sounds like the finished product, Spears then continued to promise that she would play the final version of the song in its entirety on the Ryan Seacrest show this morning (March 4th).

According to Billboard, Spears’ record label Jive Records have confirmed that they will be rush-releasing the song through the iTunes store tomorrow to counter the inevitable illegal downloads that would occur when a song from a high-profile artist like Spears leaks. Although no physical release is planned, the digital sales alone could make Spears a contender for next week’s Number One spot with her second single from ‘Femme Fatale’.
