Eminem and Arctic Monkeys were announced earlier this week as headliners for the 2011 V Festival. Tickets for the popular August weekend bash went onsale this morning, with most sites selling out pretty quickly due to unprecedented demand, leaving many fans frustrated at missing out on initial sales.

Organisers made the lineup announcement at 11.00pm on the evening of Tuesday March 2nd, revealing a massive list of acts booked for the twin-sited V festival that takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire. This year's bash takes place over the weekend of August 20th and 21st.
