No Reunion For Original KISS Line-Up

With rumours circulating the internet that KISS are considering a reunion of the four founding members of the legendary rock band, Paul Stanley has moved quickly to confirm the rumour is nothing more than that.

Speaking to CNN, singer and guitarist Stanley said, "The word that comes up is 'closure.' We had a good time that deteriorated over time. When we did the farewell tour I realized I didn't want to say farewell to KISS, I wanted to say farewell to two of the members."

However, fans still have a fair bit of exciting news to look forward to. The current line up, which also includes original singer and bass player Gene Simmons, are due to enter the studio in the next month to begin working on a follow up to 2009’s ‘Sonic Boom’.

The new album will be the band’s 20th studio album and it is also expected that a major tour will begin in the US this Autumn, so you can expect rumours for an appearance at next year's festivals to start early!

As for the other two founding members, both drummer Peter Criss and guitar/vocalist Ace Frehley will be telling their sides of the KISS story in their own autobiographies due for release later this year.
