Two new songs penned by Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke have appeared online. It was announced yesterday (March 15th) that Yorke would be releasing new collaborations with Four Tet and Mercury Award-nominee Burial, however both songs have surfaced online in less than a day of the announcement.
With less than 12 hours notice the tracks were given their debut last night on Rinse FM. The tracks, which you can listen to below, will be released on vinyl only. The double A-side is limited to just 300 copies and will be made available through Four Tet’s Text label. It is Yorke’s first musical output since releasing the critically-acclaimed Radiohead album ‘King Of Limbs’ last month.
Four Tet, the musical alias of producer Kieran Hebden, has remixed Yorke’s tracks in the past - he previously released a version of ‘Atoms For Peace’, a song from Yorke’s solo debut ‘The Eraser’.
