Thom Yorke Working On Rap Album

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is currently working on a rap album, according to reports. British rapper Doom confirmed that he has started work on an album with the singer, and the pair are hoping to collaborate on enough material to form a full-length release.

Speaking to 3D World magazine, the rapper said: “[I’m] doing some stuff with Thom Yorke...we’re working on some duets, some duet songs. Just preliminary s**t but we’ll probably end up doing a whole record together. He’s cool – he’s got a lot of ill ass ideas, you know.”

This is the second time that the pair have collaborated. Yorke remixed Doom’s track ‘Gazzilion Ear’ in 2009. Yorke, being as famously reclusive as ever, is yet to comment on the collaboration.

Meanwhile, the Radiohead frontman is proving that he clearly isn’t short of work ethic after releasing a double A-side single ‘Ego’ and ‘Mirror’ this week. The tracks are collaborations with Four Tet and Burial, but the 300-copy release has already sold out.
