Lady Gaga & Foo Fighters To Headline Radio 1’s Big Weekend

Lady Gaga has today been confirmed as headliner at this year’s Radio 1 Beg Weekend. It was revealed that the singer would be performing at the event in Carlisle on May 15th this morning live on air by DJs Greg James and Fearne Cotton.
Other acts set to perform on the impressive bill include Foo Fighters, The Black Eyed Peas and My Chemical Romance. The weekend will embrace the best of the British music scene, giving performance time to the likes of Olly Murs, The Wombats, Professor Green, Katy B and Jessie J.
Also performing at the event, which takes place at Carlisle Airport on May 14th and 15th, will be Taio Cruz, Bruno Mars and Nicole Scherzinger.
40,000 tickets for the event will be released via a ballor run by the BBC. Fans can apply by registering on the BBC Radio 1 website from tomorrow morning.
Last year’s line-up included artists such as Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Florence & The Machine, and Cheryl Cole.
