Britney Spears has stated that she would love to do a collaboration with Australian pop star Kylie Minogue. The two singers have began a dialogue this week after Minogue posted a message to Spears on Twitter, praising her recent LP ‘Femme Fatale’.
When asked about the possibility of working with Spears, Minogue told The Metro: "I think she’s great. I’ve met her before and we’ve worked with some of the same people who help put our tours together. I’m sure [working with Spears] would be a great thing."
She continued, giving her praises for ‘Femme Fatale': "I tweeted that because there’s a song from the deluxe edition, He About To Lose Me, that’s in my head before I go to sleep. I play it off my computer when I’m here (in my dressing room) and I just wanted to say I am excited about it. She was glad to hear it!"
However, the prospect of the two female stars working together is becoming more likely as Spears offered her opinion about the collaboration on Capital FM yesterday. The singer said: "I think that would be brilliant. I think that would be so much fun. I'd do a pop record. She's great. I love her."
Meanwhile, Britney Spears has reportedly been offered $5 million in a potential Las Vegas residency deal.
