Howard Marks, Crazy P and Annie Nightingale Added to The Magic Loungeabout

Crazy P, Annie Nightingale and Mr Nice himself, Howard Marks, are among the latest line-up additions to be confirmed for this year’s Magic Loungeabout festival in North Yorkshire. The event is due to take place 29th – 31st July at Broughton Hall. The Saturday will feature performances from electronic acts, with a headlining set from 80s New Wave group the Human League, and the Sunday will play host to acoustic artists such as headliner Badly Drawn Boy.

Other acts previously announced for The Magic Loungeabout 2011 include Fenech Soler and New Young Pony Club, who will both perform on the Saturday before the Human League. The Food for Thought tent will feature talks from legendary Radio 1 DJ Annie Nightingale, Howard Marks, screen writer Simon Beaufoy and comedian Robin Ince.

Defined as a “refined unwind”, The Magic Loungeabout offers festival goers a much more sophisticated experience than the usual festival treatment. Punters attending this year’s event can opt to benefit from VIP waiter service, boutique accommodation and massages, spa treatment and succulent home-cooked food.

The last Magic Loungeabout saw performances from Gary Numan, Eliza Doolittle, Morcheeba, Nouvelle Vague and Ladytron.
