We Are Scientists & Guillemots Amongst Latest Acts Confirmed For Dot To Dot Festival 2011

We are Scientists and Guillemots are the latest acts to be announced for the three-citied Dot to Dot Festival over the Bank Holiday Weekend in May.

We are Scientists, known for their spontaneous and electric live show, will be playing a set from their four critically acclaimed albums where as Guillemots will be showcasing material from their eagerly anticipated third album, 'Walk the River'.

Commenting on the new line-up additions Dot to Dot Organiser Anton Lockwood said: “We are excited to add two of our long term favourite bands to the ever growing Dot To Dot line-up. We Are Scientists never fail to deliver an energetic and fun live show, and will definitely bring the party to Dot To Dot 2011. Guillemots are a band reinvigorated after Fyfe Dangerfield’s solo excursions, and it will be great to see their new, tightly focussed live show.  And we’ve got many, many more new breakthrough bands to come! Can’t wait!”

The two bands join previously confirmed acts such as headliners Hurts, The Naked and Famous and The Joy Formidable.

The day long festival hits various venues over Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester on separate nights from May 28th to May 30th.

More bands announced to be playing are Darwin Deez (Manchester only), ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of The Dead (Bristol and Nottingham only), Ed Sheeran and Wolf Gang.
