Airbourne Tease Self-Titled Sixth Studio Album With New Single Here She Comes

Airbourne have released a new single, Here She Comes.
Co-written alongside Grammy-winning Canadian rocker Bryan Adams and quintessential arena rock producer Mutt Lange, the hard rock track is built around a big, festival-ready chorus, soaring "woahs" and a wailing guitar solo. It’s mainly about women but was also inspired by the tropical storm that hit the band’s studio in Byron Bay, Australia, during recording. Drummer Ryan O’Keeffe explained:
It was like a hurricane came through. I remember screaming, ‘Get away from the windows!’ Streetie [bassist Justin Street] was sleeping in an old bus outside the studio, and a tree fell right next to it and almost crushed him!"
Brother Joel shared: "That’s how the song came about. It’s just out of this storm that blew in. Everyone was sitting there going, ‘Here she comes!’ Then we flipped it and it became a bit of a double entendre. It’s so much fun."
It marks the fifth single from Australian rockers’ self-titled sixth studio album, due out on September 4 via Spinefarm, following earlier tracks Kid In A Candy Store, Alive After Death (Last Plane Out), Christmas Bonus and GUTSY.
Airbourne will continue their run of European headline shows and festival dates with an appearance at Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania tomorrow (July 30).
They released their latest album, 'Boneshaker', and its deluxe edition in 2019, followed by the 'Back in the Game (The Un-Limited Release)' compilation in 2021.
