Swedish new-wave band The Sounds have been away writing and recording their new album 'Something to Die For' (out June 6th). To coincide with this album release, they have announced a live show at Club NME, KOKO (London) on Friday May 13th. The last time The Sounds played on British turf was 2 years ago, when they played to a sold out Islington Academy.
Having just appeared on the hit US show Jimmy Kimmel Live (see footage below) the band, fronted by Blender Magazine’s ‘Hottest Woman in Rock’ Maja Ivarsson, have been taking the US by storm.
The Sounds are also releasing their second single 'Dance With the Devil' with 'Side One Dummy Records' on the 2nd May.
