Rod Stewart's Residency Shows to be 'Just a Good Rock Show'

Ahead of his two-year residency in Las Vegas, Rod Stewart has revealed that he won’t be glamorising his show for the run of concerts, and told fans to expect ‘just a good rock show’.
Stewart, who is currently playing stadium shows across the UK, signed on for a two-year contract at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, which currently also boasts Elton John and Celine Dion as regular acts.
Entitled ‘Rod Stewart: The Hits’, the performances are set to focus on the singers most famous songs, coupled with a ‘few surprises’.
In an interview with Billboard.com, the rocker revealed "It's a rock'n'roll show. There won't be any magicians or midgets, just a good rock show.”
His residency begins on August 24th, after his summer of massive shows in the UK. For ticket information for these British shows, look below.
Stewart is also currently engaged in the production of a new Blues album, which he hopes could feature talented guitarist Jeff Beck, but has admitted that there could be a wait for the release.
"Jeff and I will have a summit meeting [in late May] to decide where we're going to go. There's no rush for this album."
