Country rock legend Steve Earle has announced a trio of UK shows for October.
With his unique blend of country, folk and blues, famous for tracks such as 'Hillbilly Highway', 'Sweet Little '66' and 'Guitar Town', Steve Earle I known for his rock and Texas Country music as well as his political views. Since his emergence as a performer, his songs have been covered by various well-known artists, including Joan Baez, The Pretenders, The Proclaimers, Eddi Reader, The Highwaymen, Waylon Jennings, Levon Helm, Emmylou Harris, Percy Sledge and Johnny Cash.
Steve Earle released his fourteenth studio album, entitled 'I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive' (after a Hank Williams song), in the spring of this year. The album was released on April 26th, 2011 and was produced by T-Bone Burnett. Expect a showcasing of Earle's new material as well as all the old favourites on these newly-annonced shows.
